Baby number 2 is on the way for these two Emmerdale lovebirds
We love it when a celebrity announces their baby news in an exciting way. It makes us feel all warm and giddy inside.
So we’re VERY excited right now about the way Emmerdale star Charley Webb announced she is pregnant with baby number two with partner Matthew Wolfenden.
The actress, who plays Debbie Dingle, took to Twitter last night to post the cutest picture of her family – herself, Matt and their five-year-old son Buster – holding signs with the announcement.
Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe, held a board with an arrow pointing at Charley’s belly saying ‘Baby #2’ while their son posed with a notice saying ‘only child expiring December 2015’.
But, while Charley and Matthew both Tweeted the sweet picture and thanked fans for their kind messages, Matthew then posted another message that was, erm, slightly less romantic.
Ah, well it made us chuckle anyway. Charley, 27, and Matthew, 35, first started dating in 2008 and got engaged a year later on Christmas Day. However the co-stars split in 2013 – three years after the birth of their son.
At the time a spokesperson said: ‘Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden have confirmed that they have separated. They will remain friends and are focusing on their little boy.’
He Tweeted: ‘Thank you so much for all your lovely messages. Unfortunately these things happen, and it’s very sad. Buster is our main priority always. X.’
Just like any soap plot though, the couple reunited in late 2014 and have been looking more loved up than ever since.
Congratulations guys – that’s quite some Christmas present to look forward to!
