The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge's eldest son may have asthma as it's revealed he spent a night in hospital last week
As if early morning feeds and sleepless night weren’t already stressful enough, poor Frankie Bridge is having a tough old time as she’s revealed her son spent a night in hospital last week.
The Saturdays singer said that two-year-old Parker was ‘finding it hard to breathe’ after having trouble shaking off a cold.
Writing in her weekly column for OK!, Frankie – who already has her hands full at the moment after welcoming her second son, Carter, into the world with husband Wayne last month – revealed that the trip resulted in poor little Parker spending the night at the hospital.
She wrote: ‘He ended up having to stay overnight so Wayne stayed at hospital while I was home with Carter.’
‘It felt so wrong to be separated, but I would have been no good at the hospital because I would have got really emotional.’
The former Strictly Come Dancing runner-up also revealed how difficult she found the experience but, in true proud-mum style, admitted that her eldest son had been a little trooper.
‘It was horrible to see Parker so upset and stressed out but he was very brave. He had an oxygen mask to help with his breathing,’ she said.
Thankfully Parker is now feeling ‘a lot better’, but the family must wait and see whether the little tot suffers from asthma.
‘They’ve given him an inhaler to use when he needs it,’ Frankie said. ‘We’re not too sure whether he has asthma or not, but right now we’re just thankful he’s home and feeling a lot better.”
