Taylor Swift posts the cutest pictures after meeting BFF Jaime King’s baby boy Leo
We’ve always thought that Taylor Swift would make an awesome mum one day – what with her top-notch baking skills and general coolness – and now we’ve had it pretty much confirmed in these snaps of her meeting her godson.
Taylor, 25, looks right at home cradling her BFF Jaime King’s newborn son Leo Thames in the adorable photos posted on Instagram yesterday, with one showing the singer gazing lovingly at the little tot.
‘Meeting my boy. @jaime_king @kyle_newman,’ Taylor captioned the cute picture.
Actress Jaime, 36, also posted the intimate shot and wrote: ‘My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss. X’
SO sweet! Proud godmother Taylor seemed to be loving every minute with Leo, who was born just two weeks ago, and took a close-up photo of the tiny boy holding onto her finger.
‘”Your little hand’s wrapped around my finger and it’s so quiet in the world tonight…”,’ the Shake It Off star wrote alongside the snap. Awww!
Could Taylor be feeling a little broody, we wonder? The singer is loved-up with boyfriend Calvin Harris at the moment so who knows, maybe we’ll be seeing some mini Talvins in the future!
For now though the busy star is clearly content with her godparent duties. Jaime – who also has a son, James, with filmmaker husband Kyle Newman – has been doted on by Taylor during her pregnancy, with the music star throwing her pal a star-studded baby shower last month.
Tay also took time out from her busy schedule earlier this year to visit Jaime and posted an adorable video as she felt her pregnant friend’s baby kick in her tum.
But despite her apparent ease with babies, Taylor has previously claimed that she was unsure if she’d ever have a family of her own.
‘I don’t know if I’ll have kids,’ the singer told InStyle last October.
‘It’s impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies.’
We wonder if being a godmother will change her mind?
