The One Direction star reveals all on his first outing since the birth of his son
Louis Tomlinson might have been enjoying himself at the BRITs last night but baby son Freddie was never far from his thoughts.
The 24-year-old star opened up about his little lad at the event, which was his first big outing since the birth, and admitted that he was finding it hard to be away from him.
‘I’m still getting used to it,’ Louis told Capital on the red carpet.
‘It’s my first time away from him so I miss him, obviously, but it’s cool.’
Awww! Louis also made it clear that he’s very hands-on when it comes to fatherhood.
When quizzed on if he’d changed the tot’s nappy yet, the singer replied: ‘I’d actually probably changed about a hundred nappies before Freddie because I used to help out with my sister so I have changed his nappy, thank you!’
That’s us told! And when it comes to Freddie’s first word, Louis knows what he wants it to be.
‘It’s a tough question because the immaturity is just pushing through there but dad!’ he says. Cute!
Even though Louis is obviously smitten with his one-month-old son, he’s also confessed that being a parent is an extreme thing.
‘[Fatherhood] is good. It’s intense. It’s really exciting,’ he tells The Mirror.
‘This is my first time away from Freddie so it’s tough.’
The 1D star – who welcomed Freddie with former flame Briana Jungwirth in Los Angeles last month – had a night off from daddy duties last night as he hit the BRITs with bandmate Liam Payne.
It was a pretty successful night for them too, with the band scooping the British Artist Video prize for Drag Me Down.
‘Incredible night . Thank you so much for making it so special !’ Louis Tweeted to his fans following the group’s triumph.
We bet Freddie will be very proud of you, Louis!
