Ready to see the Pricey skating around in sequins? We know we are!

Katie Price clearly loves a challenge – not only has she set about relaunching her music career but she’s also reportedly signing up for the comeback of Dancing On Ice!

Yep, the popular ITV show is set to return to our screens after a three-year break and it looks like Pricey could be one of the stars to take to the rink in a suitably sparkly outfit.

Junior Andre weighs in on Katie Price’s singing career and it’s brutal!

We all know that Katie, 39, is no stranger to reality TV given that she’s previously appeared in I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother but this time she’s looking for something to really push her.

‘Katie is speaking to ITV at the moment about going on Dancing On Ice,’ a source says. ‘They’re interested and she seems keen too.

‘She wants to do it more than a lot of other shows because she sees it as a challenge and she actually has to learn something. On I’m A Celeb and CBB she didn’t really have to do very much.’

The mum-of-five is already a regular face at ITV thanks to her role as a Loose Women panellist and, given that she often causes controversy, she’d probably get viewers tuning in to see her antics on the skating rink.

‘ITV know Katie is popular with their audience and would bring plenty of drama to the show,’ the insider tells The Sun. ‘The conversations are happening but obviously it’s still very early and they are talking to lots of people.’

Katie’s not the only famous name to have been linked to Dancing On Ice’s comeback – others rumoured to be in the frame include Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent and WAG Alex Gerrard.

There’s been no word from Pricey about the speculation as of yet as she seems pretty busy fighting back after criticism of her new single.

Katie was slated by many Loose Women viewers following her performance of comeback song I Got U this week and received an equally mixed response when she sang it again on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side on Thursday night but she’s not letting it get to her.

‘I enjoyed myself living my dream I can’t win if I sing live or mime but I don’t care,’ the TV star hit back on Twitter.

Well if anyone can cope with trying to stay upright whilst dancing around on ice in front of thousands of viewers at home without getting flustered, we think Katie could be the gal to do it!
