Ex George Kay is charged for assaulting Kerry Katona and unlawful possession of a stun gun


Kerry Katona‘s ex George Kay has been charged with assaulting her, and for having an unlawful possession of a stun gun, after being arrested at their shared home in Crowborough, East Sussex  on the 3rd of October.

The 35-year-old was charged over the weekend on Saturday, and will be appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on the 26th of November, where it will be decided whether or not his case will be passed on to a higher court for trail.

George was also charged with an unlawful possession of a stun gun, which is reported to have been disguised as a torch.

A spokesperson for Kerry Katona has spoken out about since their split: ‘It is with deep sadness Kerry announces the end of her marriage to George Kay. Her focus now will be on her gorgeous children.’

Kerry hasn’t spoken about the incident, but has posted some cryptic tweets over the weekend.
