Now you can enjoy Love Island for longer - SCORE
Who’d’ve thought that watching hot, young singletons getting tanned and getting saucy with others of their kind would be so addictive? Nevertheless, it is, and people all over the nation and beyond cannot WAIT for the return of Love Island this summer.
Last June and July, folks spent weeks watching the likes of Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen fall for each other – and we were always hungry for more at the end of each ep.
And now there’s some good news for Island fans – as the show will be one week longer this year!
According to a show bosses, reportedly in contact with The Sun, ITV2’s reality gem will be on our screens for even longer this summer – and the reason behind it is all to do with… you guessed it – love!
‘Due to the massive success of last year’s series among viewers, bosses have decided to extend the current one by a week,’ an insider told the newspaper.
‘They hope this will give contestants a greater chance of finding love and lead to more summer loving than ever before.’
The fans love the show; the singletons want to find love; a perfect plan!
Excitement for the upcoming series began building last week, when its saucy trailer launched.
And judging from the first look, it sure seems as if we’re going to be just as hooked as ever!
Show bosses may be keener for the contestants to make a lasting love connection this year round – as sadly, both winning couples of the past two seasons are no more; Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey split last month, while Jess Hayes and Max Morley called it quits six weeks after winning in 2015.
Luckily, with Olivia and Alex set to walk down the aisle, and Kady MacDermott and Scott Thomas still going strong, all hope’s not lost! Take note, future Love Island stars: maybe the key is not to win…
