George Clooney is about to tie the knot with British human rights barrister Amal Alamuddin - and it could be happening TODAY or TOMORROW in Chelsea, London

It’s the most talked-about showbiz wedding since, er, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married a couple of weeks ago.

So it’s no wonder there are yet more new rumours about the world’s hottest bachelor’s wedding. British lawyer Amal Alamuddin is to tie the knot with gorgeous George Clooney.

And it’s a case of move over Made in Chelsea‘s Spencer Matthews and Cheska Hull! It could be happening TODAY or TOMORROW in Chelsea, London.

The latest rumour about their nuptiuals comes four weeks after George, 53, and his fiancé posted their official wedding banns at the Chelsea Town Hall, London. The legal notice of their intention to marry must be displayed for 16 days in public before they are allowed to do the ‘in sickness and in health’ bit.

The couple, who met in April last year, got engaged in September last year and George proposed to Amal, 36, with a seven-carat emerald cut engagement ring rumoured to be worth a whopping £415,000.

They were previously rumoured to be marrying at George‘s home in Lake Como, Italy.

A source claimed George and Amal will have two weddings and marry on Friday 12 September in a civil ceremony in London with just their parents present and then sixty guests will celebrate with them at a second wedding in Venice, Italy.

‘Sixty of their nearest and dearest will converge on Venice’s Hotel Cipriani,’ the source revealed.

Guests due to attend are close A-list friends Emily Blunt, George‘s ex-ER co-star Julianna Margulies, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Details of the best man have been kept a closely guarded secret, but Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford‘s husband Randy are all hotly tipped.

Four days ago, George appeared to confirm the rumours when he let slip some of the details at a charity event in Tuscany, saying, ‘I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places.’

Amal is tipped to wear a gown by Alexander McQueen, who also designed the Duchess of Cambridge‘s wedding dress, after she was spotted at their HQ in London.

Well, we expect nothing less at a wedding for Hollywood royalty!
