Congratulations are in order for this reality star!
According to reports, after spending some time in America and chatting to a bunch of important telly executives, it turns out the radio DJ has been signed up to host US entertainment programme, Extra.
And what’s his first job? Well, apparently the Take Me Out: The Gossip presenter only gets to head behind-the-scenes on One Direction star Niall Horan’s new music video.
And Mark seems VERY excited about his presenting gig across the pond as the reality star took to Instagram to give his 1.3million followers a sneak peak of the new tune.
Chatting to the camera, the 30-year-old can be seen partying with the 1D hunk as he says: ‘I’m so excited to tell all of you that you’re about to listen to the best song this year.
‘This man Niall Horan and Slow Hand is out now and it’s going to be the best tune you hear this year.’
And adding: ‘Wrighty’s in America with Niall doing Jaeger Bombs’, before referencing noughties band, Mis-Teeq‘s classic phrase ‘ENTER’ – remember that?
Anyway, according to The Sun, if all goes well with Mark’s first report, the star is expected to be commissioned for more work by the show which is hosted by Saved By The Bell star, Mario Lopez as well as Olivia Culpo and Simon Cowell’s ex Terri Seymour.
‘This is a massive gig for Mark,’ a source told the publication.‘It will put him in the homes of millions of Americans every day. He’s hoping it will go well so that more work in the States follows.
‘He’s been out in LA for the past few weeks having meetings with the major networks and all the noises are very positive.’
Luckily, Mark’s wife Michelle Keegan won’t be getting too lonely at their Essex home while Mark’s shooting in LA as she’s also preparing to film abroad for the new series of successful war drama, Our Girl.
We’re surprised this busy pair get to spend any time together at all!
