Former Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Wright has opened up about this year's show...
Having taken to the Strictly Come Dancing stage last year, Mark Wright is clearly a bit of a pro when it comes to showcasing his moves – in fact, the former TOWIE star actually came fourth with his professional dancer Karen Hauer.
As he took to the red carpet at Monday night’s TV choice awards, the lovely Mark, 28, admitted that he’s definitely going to be watching this year’s series of Strictly. But who does he reckon could lift the infamous Glitterball?
‘You can never tell! There’s a few good ones in there though. Jay from The Wanted is gonna be good, I think Peter Andre’s going to be good, Georgia May Foote. I think Kirsty Gallacher is gonna be good aswell! There’s a few good ones out there,’ admitted Mark.
So is Mark still perfecting his dance moves?
‘No, I haven’t put the dancing shoes back on yet but maybe one day,’ he revealed, adding:
‘As you go on the weeks of doing it you start to pick up the dance. It took five days at first, then it was four, three, two – it never got to one with me – so I think I’d find it OK.’
Despite this, Mark admitted that it was a lot of hard work.
‘I loved it but also it was hard so I don’t know if I’ll definitely do it again,’ said the reality star, who reckons wife Michelle Keegan wouldn’t be keen to dance on the BBC1 show.
‘I don’t think she would – she said she wouldn’t. She might change her mind one day. At the moment I think it’s a no,’ confessed Mark.
Fingers crossed Michelle, 28, changes her mind! Mark and his new wife looked stunning at the prestigious awards do, with Ms Keegan rocking a beautiful pink floaty dress and a seriously enviable tan.
It’s safe to say they’re looking more loved-up than ever and Mark even opened up about their favourite Saturday night pastime.
‘We always watch Strictly and The X Factor – we watch them both. Saturday nights are sorted.’
Safe to say, that’s one Saturday night we would LOVE to be a part of!
