Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh have been engaged since 2013 and have a daughter together
Get your hats ready lady and gents! We seem to have another celeb wedding on the cards! And this one has been a long time coming.
With Peter popping the question to his not-so-mysterious girl back on New Year’s Eve in 2013, he originally said that he only wants to be engaged for a maximum of two years. And that deadline is getting nearer and nearer.
But with busy schedules and just general life whizzing by (seriously, how is it July already?!) that deadline got pushed further and further back, and they ended up planning to get married in 2016.
‘It was always going to be next year. But I think we’re going to do it this year now because I think that’s nicer.’
We’ve got our outfit planned and confetti to hand already!
Confessing that’s he’s not the most organised of the male species, the Aussie said no matter what, by the time 2015 ends though, they will be hitched, betrothed, wed.
‘I’m a man and I can’t plan too much. But it’s definitely this year.’
And another thing that’s for certain is how beautiful his 25-year-old fiancée is going to look as she walks down the aisle, which Pete gushed about back in December, saying: ‘Words can’t explain how stunning a bride she’ll be.’
The couple have been dating since 2012, but with Pete releasing his new fragrance, Breeze, he’s performing all around the country this summer, and there are even rumours that ol’ Petey boy’s a strong contender to take part on Strictly this year – maybe brush up on some moves before the first dance? That’s a pretty hectic schedule! Oh, and Emily’s been busy training to be a doctor, and landed her first job as one since. No biggie. Just saving people’s lives…
With so much on their plates, the couple better get planning quick! This is something that Emily has been worried about how she’ll fit in to her schedule though. Last Christmas she said how much she wanted to get married before she started work, ‘which doesn’t leave much time to plan!’
Don’t worry Emily, we’ll be more than happy to give you and Pete a hand! First thing’s first – sponge or fruit cake?
