Ex Bake Off contestant Ruby Tandoh has had a go at judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood on Twitter

There’s few things we love more and will defend to the death more than the Great British Bake Off. So when someone has a go at judges Paul Hollywood and national treasure Mary Berry. Well, let’s just say we’re not going to be a happy bunny.

Ex GBBO contestant Ruby Tandoh is one of the most memorable bakers from the show’s history, and was even voted the public’s favourite contestant ever in a Radio Times poll earlier in the year. Oh how that might change when you find out what she said about our Mez Bez.

Following some ridiculous comments from some silly sausages who say that Nadiya and Tamal are only in the final of the Great British Bake Off due to political correctness instead of, you know, their insane talent and passion for baking, Ruby went to Twitter to have a pop at judges Paul and Mary.

We’re assuming she’s referring to Mary with ‘an actual victorian relic’ and ‘a walking gammon joint’ is Paul.

She went on to say post: ‘if u think this is a terrible ~slight~ against their character, what about the finalists who’ve had their whole worth reduced to ‘PC bias.’

We GET where Ruby is coming from – but you didn’t have to say that about Mary and Paul!

As well as Mary Berry being one of the nicest people on telly that we just want to have as our grandma, we’re also a bit scared about how they’d react to being called such things. And it seems like we’re not the only ones….

Oh dear. Seems like you can’t have your delicious Twitter cake and eat it too.
