The actor has learned skills from Martin Freeman
Benedict Cumberbatch fancies trying his hand at comedy.
The actor, who’s best known for playing rather serious roles, admitted in a Reddit Ask Me Anything web chat that he’s a big fan of the genre.
‘I love my comedy and when the right project comes up I won’t shy away from it,’ writes Benedict, 37.
‘There’s a lot of humor in what I do, specifically Sherlock, but it would be great to play a “normal guy” in a “normal comedy”.‘
Benedict showed his flair for funniness when he starred in 2006 flick Starter For 10 and he credits Sherlock co-star Martin Freeman with teaching him about comedic timing.
‘I learned from the master, Martin Freeman,’ the actor says.
