Singer checks back in for further treatment
Amy Winehouse is said to have returned to hospital – just 3 days after checking out.
The singer underwent a series of medical exams last week to see if her emphysema had cleared up.
But after a weekend at home, Amy, 25, has gone back to The London Clinic for ongoing treatment.
‘She had a chest infection [last week] and underwent some tests to make sure nothing else was wrong,’ a source says.
‘She has been told to give up smoking and was initially struggling with that – she was covered in nicotine patches at one point. But she is making an effort.’
But her rep Chris Goodman says she’s on the mend and has been recording tracks for her new album. She’s even learning to play the drums.
‘We’ll have to see how that plays out on the next album,’ he tells People.
