Camilla Luddington from Berkshire cast as the future princess

William & Kate, a romantic movie about Prince William and Kate Middleton that’s being shot for a US audience, has found its leading lady in Berkshire.

Unknown British actress Camilla Luddington has landed the coveted role of William’s fiancée in the TV film that will co-star Nico Evers-Swindell as the Prince.

Camilla is very excited,’ her sister Amy tells the Sun.

‘She has always followed the Royal Family and never dreamt she’d be playing in a movie about them.’

Oxford-educated Camilla currently lives in LA, but her hometown Crowthorne is only a short drive from Bucklebury where Kate grew up.

This will be the first major role for the 26-year-old whose previous parts include episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Days Of Our Lives.

William & Kate will be shown in the US ahead of the royal wedding on 29 April.
