In these shocking clips, Joan launches into a foul-mouthed outburst on
Loose Women, before being famously kicked out of the studio during an
ad break. Panellist Jane McDonald was aghast, but we’ve got to admit, it’s absolutely hysterical to watch.

Joan also takes on Kathy Griffin and smacks her round the face, walks out
of a live CNN interview leaving the presenter gobsmacked, and
gives her critique on Christina Aguilera‘s red carpet choices from the
Fashion Police sofa – the show which left all Hollywood quaking in their Louboutins.

And
in one of her last shocking moments filmed just weeks before her death,
Joan reveals her rather unexpected thoughts on the sexual orientation
and gender of both President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. You’ll never believe what she says!

The showbiz world has been mourning Joan‘s death on Thursday 4 September. Friends have revealed that, behind the scenes, there was a much softer side to the acid-tongue celebrity that the public never saw. She was doting grandmother, mother and caring colleague.

After suddenly stopping breathing during surgery on her vocal chords at an endoscopy clinic on 28 August, Joan had been unconscious and on life support in a critical condition.

Her daughter Melissa Rivers made the difficult decision to switch off her life support.

In a statement released last night, Melissa announced the passing of her mother at 1.17pm at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Cooper [Melissa’s son] and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.

‘My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.’

So here you go, you’ll be howling with laughter at Joan‘s best bits.
