The judges often steal the limelight from the contestants and things get a little steamy on The X Factor at the start of the Arena auditions.
Well, once they hear the smoochy sounds of Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On, the pair tag-teamed boss Si with their sexy moves as 25-year-old Paul Akister from Lancashire sings his heart out.
X Factor boss Simon looks like the judge that got the cream and says, ‘Paul, I think we both had a great time during that song actually.’
But you’ll have to wait until the show to see how he gets on.
And there’s a bit of a reunion – you might recognise Paul because got to Louis Walsh’s judge’s house last year but missed out on a place in the live shows. Boo!
Cheeky Simon tells Paul, ‘I’m sorry I wasn’t here last year, but I’m here now.’
Once the judges get back down to business, mother hen Cheryl is all worried about 15-year-old student Stevie Tennant fearing he’s too young.
But the lad from her hometown Newcastle soon changes her mind after his confident performance of Michael Buble’s Feeling Good.
And another teen Lauren Platt, 16, wows Cheryl who called her ‘her favourite 16-year-old so far’ with her rendition of How Will I Know by Whitney Houston.
Of course, Cheryl has been hit by pregnancy rumours since recently tweeting her fans, ‘What would be the most exciting news you would like to receive from me right now ? #music#justcurious … I love to hear your thoughts‘.
Posting a pic of herself in a chunky knit jumper and blowing a kiss to the camera, fans soon went crazy assuming ‘exciting news’ would mean she’s expecting a baby with husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. But there’s no confirmation Cheryl‘s expecting anything but X Factor fun at the moment
