Davina McCall introduces the 16 housemates for 2009...
It’s time to meet the Big Brother contestants taking part in series 10.
Already nominated is Sophia Brown, 26, a banker from Herne Hill. At only 4ft 11in she may be the tiniest housemate but she makes up for it in attitude. If someone starts an argument with her she will end it – even if it takes all night.
Her bad habits include breaking out into song, farting and talking to herself.
Another one of the Big Brother contestants nominated is Freddie Fisher, 23, a web programmer from Market Drayton who’s used to life’s luxuries.
Meanwhile Cairon Austin-Hill, 18, was raised in America’s Deep South, but he’s since moved back to study in London. Noirin Kelly, 25, is a retail manager from Dublin and an all-Ireland athletics champion.
Contestants like Karly Ashworth, 21, and Marcus Akin, 35, are a bit saucy. Karly is a part-time glamour model who’s made it into the Top 100 FHM High Street Honeys while carpenter Marcus would love to be a porn star.
Brazilian-born Rodrigo Lopes, 23, is a bisexual student from Manchester. Out and proud Charlie Drummond, 22, claims to have slept with 69 men and 103 women.
Some contestants have an unusual style. Siavash Sabbaghpour, 23, is fashion obsessed while unemployed Lisa Wallace, 41, sports a red Mohican.
30GG model Sophie Reade, 20, and beauty consultant Saffia Corden, 27, bring the glamour. They’ll be joined in the house by business student Sree Dasari, 25, and visual merchandiser Kris Donnelly, 24.
Big Brother contestants come from a wide range of backgrounds. Angel McKenzie, 35, is a professional boxer who moved from Russia to England 12 years ago.
Beinazir Lasharie, 28, a study support assistant from London, was the first housemate to go home. We can’t wait to see what Big Brother has in store for the remaining contestants!
