Chef Gordon Ramsay meets Cayetana Elizabeth Hutcheson – nicknamed Tana – when she’s 18 and engaged to his best friend. Gordon and Tana get married four years later in 1996.

The couple welcome their first child Megan in 1998 before expanding their family with twins Holly and Jack a year later and daughter Matilda in 2002.

In 1998, Tana Ramsay supports Gordon when he opens his first restaurant Gordon Ramsay At Royal Hospital Road with the help of father-in-law Chris Hutcheson.

Gordon starts to gain popularity with his second TV documentary Beyond Boiling Point in 2000 and by releasing books such as Gordon Ramsay‘s Just Desserts.

He’s named Chef Of The Year at the GQ Awards in 2003 and in 2004 launches his show Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.

Tana Ramsay is by his side as his success grows on both sides of the pond – but things haven’t always been easy for the pair.

Chef Gordon is arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in 2002, although the case is eventually dismissed.

In 2008, it’s alleged that he’s been having a 7-year affair with Sarah Symonds. He insists the claims are ‘completely made up’ and he and Tana make plans to renew their wedding vows.

Gordon ends his 12-year working partnership with Tana Ramsay‘s father in 2010, leading to series of lawsuits between them.

He later reveals that his and Tana’s close friends David and Victoria Beckham helped them through the difficult ordeal.

‘David and Victoria were just extraordinary in terms of the help and support during this time. They really were great,’ says the chef.

Things seem to be back on-track with the smitten pair’s marriage when they cuddle up at the launch of Gordon’s new restaurant Union Street Café in 2013.

Despite their long relationship, it seems Gordon and Tana Ramsay still can’t help showing affection for each other when they’re out and are often snapped holding hands. Aw!
