See how Kellie used to look
Kellie Bright has gone through quite a transformation since first finding fame.
Well, it’s no surprise. The actress – who was born on 1 July 1976 – was just 13 when she nabbed her first television role in 1989’s T-Bag And The Revenge Of The T-Set.
As the first picture in our gallery shows, Kellie is a fresh-faced youngster when she stars as Sally Simpkins in T-Bag And The Pearls Of Wisdom a year later.
By 1991, Kellie’s playing tomboy Joanna Burrows in sitcom The Upper Hand. Appearing on the show until 1996, we see her blossom on-screen into a pretty teenager.
She begins experimenting with make-up and wearing jewellery.
Two years after the programme ends, Kellie dresses up for a pantomime performance of Peter Pan at London’s Victoria Theatre with a new chin-length bob.
By 2000, she’s cut her locks even shorter. She plays around with both straighteners and playful flicky ends in 2002. That same year, Kellie plays Me Julie, Ali G’s girlfriend in Ali G Indahouse.
After spending a couple of years with short hair, Kellie reverts back to longer lengths for a number of years.
Briefly sporting another shoulder-skimming mop in 2012, she becomes a household name with a flowing style when she’s cast as EastEnders’ Linda Carter in 2013.
Away from the camera, she mixes up her mane at glitzy events by rocking a Grecian-inspired braid, girlie ringlets, loose curls, messy up-dos and a slicked-back ponytail.
When it comes to cosmetics, Kellie is clearly a fan of smoky eyes, stepping out with the sultry trend at various award ceremonies.
She’s also made a statement with coral and pink lipstick shades, has played around with false eyelashes and accentuated her cheeks with bronzer and blusher.
However, Kellie isn’t afraid to go bare-faced. She’s sported natural looks for a range of acting roles and arrives at Radio Times’ cover party in 2015 with a low-key look.
