Stuck for Halloween costume ideas? Let Joey Essex, Lydia Bright and these other celebs inspire you!
Someone tell Miley Cyrus that she can start dressing like a human – no one would recognise her.
But seriously – your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds will soon be filled with friends showing off their intricate pumpkins carved with portraits of a demonic Mona Lisa.
Not to mention spooky make-up nonchalantly advertising their obviously undiscovered and potentially Oscar-winning talent, and clever 21st century emoji costumes that have you asking yourself, ‘Why didn’t I think of that first?’

Glee co-stars and besties Amber Riley and Chris Colfer are definitely on the same wave length – they both chose to go as cats.
Props goes Leona Lewis for her almost too convincingly scary clown make-up, model Amber Rose gets bonus points for combining the undead with the resurrection of a 90s cultural reference, and Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale gets an honourable mention for her original social media-inspired costume.
Apologies to Cara Delevingne – a simple hat does not a Halloween costume make. And also to Paris Hilton – we almost scrolled past the picture she uploaded dressed in a Playboy Bunny outfit, until we realised that this was indeed her Halloween costume. Way to push the boat out, Paris.
