If you buy ONE dress this season, you should probably make it Topshop’s £35 figure-friendly favourite…

When Kimberley Walsh popped on a cobalt blue Topshop dress on Wednesday night, she inadvertently walked smack, bang into a massive style storm.

Okay, that’s a touch dramatic. But Girls Aloud star Kimberley did stumble upon this summer’s surprise dress trend.

Kimberley, 31, wore the £35 Topshop Leopard Cutout Back Bodycon Dress to Capital FM in London – adding a black biker jacket, shades and a pair of £60 Office court shoes – proving she can work the UK high street like the best of them.

The singer’s the last star to slip on the sexy number, following the likes of Holly Willoughby, Zoe Hardman and Katie Piper.

Now magazine’s Deputy Editor Victoria Kennedy and Art Director Kirsty Harlow have got their hands on the dress too, both of them beating the celebs to the trend (ahem, no biggie!)

Available in three colourways (red, blue and green) and in midi, petite and tall – it’s safe to say this is one dress to suit all. And the print’s rather fabulous too.

This 2013 dress success follows on from Topshop‘s It polka-dot dress of 2011 – as loved by Pixie Geldof, Fearne Cotton and Kristen Dunst.

Bravo, Topshop, bravo.
