Get up close and personal with Kylie’s wardrobe…
Pop princess Kylie Minogue is set to showcase a range of classic costumes that have charted her 20-year rise from Aussie soap actress to multi-million selling pop star.
The exhibition, to be held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London next February, will reveal 45 stunning stage costumes from nine world tours, along with hats, accessories and photographs.
On show will be the dungarees she wore as Charlene Mitchell in Aussie soap Neighbours, as well as outfits made for her by mega-watt designers like Dolce and Gabanna, Julien MacDonald and Manolo Blahnik.
You’ll even be able to catch a peek of those gold hot pants that relaunched her career in the video of the September 2000 comeback single Spinning Around.
The 38-year-old donated many of the glitzy outfits herself, and plans to add to the collection after she resumes her Showgirls tour next month.
Kylie says: ‘I hope visitors have a great time exploring the exhibition, finding the familiar and discovering the new.’
