Made in Chelsea's resident stylista Rosie fashes up this season's floral trends

Made in Chelsea girl Rosie Fortescue works this season’s floral trends and discusses her fashion do’s and don’ts.

My style crush is…

A mixture of Olivia Palermo and Miranda Kerr.

Olivia because she wears a lot of colour and pattern and Miranda because you know she hasn’t spent hours getting ready – she doesn’t have the time with a baby and being married to Orlando Bloom!

She does the daytime jeans/printed silk shirts/flats kinda vibe very well.

My fashion mantra is…

Don’t be too concerned with trends.

I love taking inspiration from them but I know certain styles and shapes won’t suit my body.

If you can’t work a trend, leave it to someone with a different body shape who can.

My high street go-tos are…

River Island – big time! – Topshop and Zara.

I love shopping on the high street.

In Zara you’ll buy something, thinking: ‘I’ll wear this a few times and all my friends will have it,’ but River Island‘s the brand you don’t always see everyone rocking.

My new season must-haves are…

House Of Holland sunglasses, white River Island gladiator sandals and cobalt blue clutch with gold caging from – a dainty clutch is such a good night-time look.

My biggest style splurge was…

A Burberry wool trench coat with leather sleeves.

It’s black and white with a really cool print.

I’ll wear that for years and I can’t really see myself getting bored of it.

My best investment pieces are…  handbags and non trend- associated jackets.

You’ll wear a good leather biker for years.
