Lindsay Lohan's debut collection launches this week, but has she designed it for REAL women with REAL bods?

Chanel, Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein….if there’s a wardrobe we’d love to raid (apart from Kim K, obvs) Lindsay Lohan comes pretty high on the list.

Well now it’s even easier to look like Li-Lo, as she’s launched her debut fashion collection for Lavish Alice – the online label loved by Rosie Fortescue, Lucy Watson, Sam Faiers and Michelle Keegan. And yes – it’s high street, hurrah!

With Western fringing, sleek knitwear, fashion forward playsuits and we-predict-a-riot co-ords the range is basically a who’s-who of Summer’s hottest trends.

BUT is it wearable? Are they pieces we’ll want in our own wardrobes? And most importantly, has Lindsay designed a range to flatter lumps and bumps?

There’s nothing Now love more than a style challenge, so in a world exclusive (swit swoo) team fash put Lindsay’s fashion range through its style paces…

And the results? Drum roll please!

Clare Willets, age 35, dress size 14, height 5ft 7in wears Lindsay Lohan X Lavish Alice tassel dress, £58

Clare’s verdict

‘I’m curvy so I’ve always steered clear of short dresses, but Lindsay’s used clever design tricks to make her collection work for all shapes. The tassel trims aren’t just a trendy update on the classic LBD but they give extra coverage too. I can definitely see myself wearing it with everything from gladiator sandals and a big floppy hat to an oversized bag and some colourful jewellery’

Lindsay’s verdict:

‘This dress is perfect for throwing on for day or night – the clever cut skims over Clare’s curves and let’s face it – everyone loves an LBD! Keep it simple for work or go heavy on the accessories for night time.’

Hannah Eichler, age 29, dress size 10, height 5ft1in, wears Lindsay Lohan X Lavish Alice jumper, £40

Hannah’s verdict:

‘With size 30E boobs I didn’t think I’d be able strap my own LiLo’s into the range. The V-neck on this knit flatters my bust, and the bell sleeves are perfect to work this season’s 70s trend, too! The grey shade makes it perfect with pastels for summer, but for winter it’ll look great with a mini skirt, tights and ankle boots.’

Lindsay’s verdict

‘With a kick out skirt and a v-neck Hannah has balanced out her figure; it’s a really flattering cut. For a laid back lunch, I’d style it with the matching trousers.’

Lydia Southern, age 30, dress size 8, height 5ft wears Lindsay Lohan X Lavish Alice cape £58 and shorts £42

Lydia’s verdict:

‘Being a petite 5ft, it’s often tricky to find clothes that don’t swamp me. LiLo’s coord fit perfectly and I loved the bright colours – this is power dressing at it’s finest! The best news is that this coord is so versatile; I’ll mix and match the cape with jeans and the shorts with a block colour top for extra style mileage.’

Lindsay’s verdict:

‘This does exactly what any petite girl wants – the shorts give Lydia legs that go on for miles! I love these co-ords because they’re an instant head to toe look.’

Sarah Bradbury, age 25, size 12, height 5ft 11in, wears Lindsay Lohan X Lavish Alice dress, £46

Sarah’s verdict:

‘When I saw the pictures of Lindsay wearing this dress I was worried it would be eye wateringly short on me – but it was just right! Lindsay’s designed it with long sleeves and high neckline to balance out the high hemline, while the fringing detail nails this seasons’ western trend. Yeehah!

Lindsay’s verdict:

‘Love this look on Sarah! Suede and fringing are my fave trends for next season. I love wearing this piece because of the movement of the fringing. Tall or petite this dress works for anyone.’
