These celebs were on our screens before we knew who they were - including Alexa Chung

There’s nothing we love more than a celebrity #TBT… Except when it’s a throwback to an age-old music video they starred in during their pre-fame days.

Yep, some of our fave celebs have featured in other artists’ music vids, way before they hit the big screen themselves. And their cameos are ALL as hilarious as you would imagine.

Check out our 5 favourite celeb music video cameos EVER.

When it’s a throwback this good, we don’t even need to wait for Thursday. Bring it on!

1. Angelina Jolie – Rock ‘N’ Roll Dreams Come Through by Meat Loaf

This 1993 video features an 18-year-old Angelina, now 39, playing a teenage girl who Meat Loaf, posing as a fortune teller, comforts after she runs away from home. But don’t worry readers, she returns safe and sound to her family at the end. Is there anything more hilarious?!

2. Channing Tatum – She Bangs by Ricky Martin

Yep, you heard us correctly: heartthrob Channing Tatum is one of the sexy male dancers in cracking 90s tune She Bangs. We barely recognise the gorgeous actor that we know today – but this was Channing’s very first professional dancing job, for which he was paid just $400 for a five-day shoot. AMAZING.

3. Casey Batchelor – Perfect by Mason Vs Princess Superstar

We couldn’t believe our eyes when we realised that girl gyrating on an exercise ball in her very skimpy gym gear is actually a 23-year-old Casey Batchelor. WEKNOWRIGHT.

4. Alexa Chung – Down Boy by Holly Valance

Check out fashion guru Alexa in her younger days, dancing alongside noughties legend Holly Valance. Alexa recently posted a screen shot of the vid to her Instagram, with the caption: ‘That time I was in a Holly Valance video filmed the day I received my AS level results. #downboy’

5. Courtney Cox – Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen

Whether you know about this little musical acting stint of Coutney Cox’s or not, it’s definitely worth a look back. Check out that old school hair do!
