The world’s most gorgeous blokes - as voted by you!

Now’s 50 sexiest men are so hot they should come with a health warning…

Over 1,000 of you took up our challenge to find the hottest hunk in celebland – and the results may surprise you.

Sorry Harry Styles, but it’s official: Zayn Malik’s your most fanciable One Direction boy.

Olly Murs is hotter than Ryan Gosling; and The Voice’s Danny O’Donoghue went straight in at No 15, sealing his position as the newest reality TV heartthrob.

And there’s no ageism – five of your Top 10 are over 40. Like fine wine, celeb men clearly get better with age. Let the countdown commence…

1. Johnny Depp, 48, actor

You voted ever-swoonsome Johnny Now’s hottest hunk and who are we to disagree? He may have piercing eyes, cheekbones to die for and a devilish sense of humour, but the Hollywood hottie’s also self-conscious and shies away from playing the fame game.

‘If someone actually believes [I’m the sexiest man alive], I’m deeply flattered. But I don’t get it myself. It’s mortifying,’ he says.

2. David Beckham, 36, footballer

‘I’ve never padded out my pants or shoved socks down there,’ insists Becks. ‘Let’s just say I’ve been told I don’t need any help in that department.

‘I think I’m pretty OK. But my toes, they aren’t great.’

3. George Clooney, 51, actor

‘There’s a lot of pressure [being voted for in sexiest man polls],’ says George.

‘There are all the events you have to show up for. The sash you have to wear…’

4. Brad Pitt, 48, actor

Brad says: ‘There can be people who don’t catch your eye immediately but when you talk to them, they become the most beautiful thing in the world.’

5. Olly Murs, 27, singer

Delighted Olly tells us: ‘Wow! I can’t believe I’ve come this high in the poll. Thanks so much to everyone at Now and all the lovely readers who voted.’

6. Zac Efron, 24, actor

‘I stay fit,’ says Zac. ‘I have to. The characters I want to play and the stuff I do, they’re those type of guys.’

7. Gerard Butler, 42, actor

‘In Scotland I’m just like a lot of other guys,’ explains Gerard. ‘But in America I’m seen as a very strong, masculine guy.

8. Peter Andre, 39, singer

‘I’m absolutely shocked and flattered. I just can’t see myself in that way. Are you sure the readers got it right?’ Pete tells us.

9. Hugh Jackman, 43, actor

Hugh says: ‘It’s a burden [being called a sex symbol]! It seems hilarious to me.

‘It was two or three years back and the problem is that after that I had to kind of retire – it’s all pretty much downhill from here.’

10. Bradley Cooper, 37, actor

‘I think I’m a decent-looking guy,’ he says. ‘Sometimes I can look great, but other times I can look horrifying.’
