Duchess of Cambridge shops for baby gear without Prince William

Kate Middleton has sparked speculation about the sex of her baby after buying a blue buggy.

It’s been revealed that the mum-to-be, who is expecting her first child in July, told guests at a reception in Aldershot on St Patrick’s Day that she’d purchased a Bugaboo pushchair for the little one.

She and some of the other girls were talking about prams and one of the girls had her baby in a Bugaboo,’ a source tells the Mail Online.

Kate said she has bought one in light blue. It was a bit of a hint.’

The revelation comes after Kate, 31, was spotted buying a more neutral white Moses basket from Blue Almonds in South Kensington, London.

The Duchess was joined by mum Carole Middleton, 58, for the shopping spree, where she purchased the £295 white whicker basket.

Despite the hints, Kate and hubby Prince William, 30, claim they don’t know the sex of the baby, though Kate’s previously admitted that she wants a boy whereas Wills is keen to have a daughter.
