Duchess is running the Ultimate Royal Tea Party Competition but it's only in Malaysia

As she gets ready to tour Malaysia next month with husband Prince William, Kate Middleton’s also busy preparing for her own event – a private tea party.

Kate, 30, will host the exclusive do in conjunction with the British High Commission during the visit, which forms part of the couple’s Diamond Jubilee tour.

A love of tea drinking is something which Malaysian and British people share,’ says British High Commissioner Simon Featherstone.

Kate’s even giving away some tickets to the intimate get-together by encouraging the country’s tea-lovers to enter the Ultimate Royal Tea Party Competition.

Entrants must send in a pic of themselves sipping a brew and the 2 most creative snaps – one from an under 18 and one over – will be chosen.

What better way to mark this very special royal occasion than by inviting everyone to join in the celebration and send in a photo which demonstrates their creativity,’ the High Commissioner adds.

Wills, 30, will also attend Kate’s party. The pair begin their trip on 13 September.
