Comedian likes winning

Comedian Alan Carr wants a row of trophies on his mantelpiece because they give him such high.

‘Awards are like drugs,’ says Alan, 32. ‘You get one and want more. My gateway drug was Rear Of The Year. Ever since that taste I just wanted more.’

Alan was gutted when The Sunday Night Project lost out to The X Factor in the Best Entertainment Programme category at the Bafta TV Awards in April.

‘I’d love a Bafta,’ he tells The Sun. ‘But the competition’s so tough.’
