Britain's Got Talent judge gives up 40-a-day habit
Simon, 53, used to have a 40-a-day habit but fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda says he’s replaced menthol cigarettes with electronic ones.
Simon does not smoke any more,’ says Amanda, 42.
He has got a vaporising cigarette instead. He smokes air, or rather water. It’s amazing.’
Si’s e-cigarettes, which are popular in LA, suck in water from the atmosphere and release vapour that resembles smoke.
It comes after the music mogul previously admitted that he still loved smoking after starting his lifelong habit when he was just eight.
I genuinely still love smoking,’ he revealed.
I equate smoking with having a good time. I shouldn’t be saying this but, well, they’re not illegal, are they? After sex – amazing.’
But health-conscious Simon is trying hard to ditch the cigs.
Simon is trying to cut down on the menthols,’ a Britain’s Got Talent insider tells the Daily Mirror.
