The Britain's Got Talent crew get on famously

Amanda Holden admits that Simon Cowell has mellowed during the past couple of years – coincidentally since David Walliams joined the Britain’s Got Talent panel.

The mum-of-two, who has been a judge on the talent show since the first series, thinks Simon, 53, has been happier since his bromance with David, 41, started.

I’m not sure if it’s to do with David but over the last couple of years, Simon is a changed person,’ says Amanda, 42.

He is happy in himself and loving life, and because of that everything around him is much more relaxed.

The bottom line is that they [Simon and David] like each other, and behind the scenes it’s as funny and as camp as you see on telly. It’s a proper friendship, and lovely to watch.’

Even though she enjoys watching the pair bond Amanda admits that she also loves seeing them bicker and poke fun at each other.

I can’t wait to hear what comes out of David’s mouth next and see Simon either squirm or laugh out loud, depending what kind of day it is,’ she tells S Magazine.

Simon was always the naughty teaser and the pigtail-puller, the one who pushed it too far, but he’s met his match in David.

It makes me laugh that sometimes Simon is uncomfortable – it’s the universe getting him back!’
