Amanda Seyfried drank Russell Crowe's whisky before appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman
Amanda Seyfriedsays she’s never done a TV interview after noon sober, relying on Dutch courage to get confidence.
‘I have to go on record saying I’ve never done a live television show – after noon – without some kind of liquid courage,’ she tells The Late Show With David Letterman.
‘I’m pretty drunk. To be honest with you Dave, I’ve had about three. I’m a big fan of whiskey. I had some Midleton.
‘Russell Crowe gave me some Midleton for my birthday and I had some of that before I got here. And then your lovely colleagues had some Jameson waiting for me [backstage].
The actress, 27, jokes that while she might ‘have a problem, maybe’, she has no intention of giving up alcohol.
‘You know what? It really gets me through, and I really want to enjoy my experience out here because it’s special,’ she says.
