Intense emotional strain has taken its toll

After another shambolic performance in Brighton, Amy Winehouse has cancelled the rest of her 2007 tour dates.

Fans in Bournemouth and Cardiff will be disappointed this week and those with tickets for shows next month in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and London will also get their money refunded.

Concert promoter Live Nation have issued a statement saying, `The rigours involved in touring and the intense emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks’ have led to the decision.

‘In the interests of her health and wellbeing, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues.’

Amy, 24, has been miserable since husband Blake Fielder-Civil was taken to Pentonville prison where he awaits trial in January on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice and assault

‘I can’t give it my all on stage without my Blake. I’m so sorry,’ she says.

‘My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.’

The jazz diva still hopes to fulfill cancelled US dates next year.
