Amy Winehouse's Camden house raided
Amy Winehouse’s hubby Blake Fielder-Civil was arrested last night and handcuffed.
He was apprehended at a flat in Bow, East London and taken away by 8 plain-clothed police officers, as Amy, 24, protested.
‘I want to go with him,’ the singer begged. The pair hugged before Blake, 26, was led to an unmarked people carrier.
Earlier yesterday afternoon, the couple’s home in Camden, North London, was raided when they were out.
10 police officers used a battering ram to smash down the front door.
Blake’s arrest is reported to be linked to allegations of a £200,000 plot to fix a trial – due to start Monday – in which Blake and a pal will face charges of assaulting a Hoxton barman in June causing GBH with intent.
‘A thorough investigation is being carried out into claims of conspiracy to pervert justice in connection with a trial,’ a Met Police spokesman tells the Daily Mirror.
The maximum sentence for conspiracy to pervert justice is life in prison.
