The Script star has become the show's ladies' man

After getting close to contestant Bo Bruce on last year’s show, Danny O’Donoghue has taken a fancy to another female star on The Voice.

Former Hollyoaks actress Alice Barlow, 21, was a big hit with the judges after performing Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit Call Me Maybe.

And The Script frontman Danny, 32, was particularly taken with the blonde songstress.

She’s a lovely-looking girl,’ the Irishman said after her performance.

And sources say he’s become a bit of a lothario on set, with a show insider saying: Danny has become the ladies’ man this year.

He’s been bribing female audience members with sweets and hugs throughout filming to get them on side.’

The latest flirtation, which will be screened on the show this weekend, comes as former contestant Bo Bruce has spoken out about her relationship with Danny.

Bo was mentored by the Irishman on the first series and, despite constant rumours that they were dating, she says they were kept apart.

We were incredibly close and he’s a hot guy,’ says Bo, 28.

It was a mad time and meeting someone under those circumstances is difficult. I was very vulnerable and I regret a lot of things that happened.

There was such an obsession with whether or not we were together and that put wild amounts of pressure on us.

In the end a decision was made for him to not be around me. He was told he was not allowed to [go to a concert with me], because he couldn’t be seen with me in public.’
