The royals head out to support London Poppy Day

Kate Middleton and Prince William didn’t worry about leaving baby Prince George at home to go out in London yesterday.

The couple, both 31, boarded a bus at Kensington Palace to promote Poppy Day with Royal British Legion supporters and told fellow passengers that their three-month-old son was being very good.

He’s half asleep,’ Kate told former EastEnders star Barbara Windsor.

Doting dad Wills added: He’s behaving himself this morning.’

George was looked after by nanny Jessie Webb at the family’s Apartment 1A residence as his parents surprised commuters at High Street Kensington underground station.

Both Kate and Wills proudly wore their poppies as they chatted to servicemen and servicewomen who were selling the charity badges.
