David is victorious at starry event

David Beckham might have retired from football but he’s still in top shape.

The legendary footballer competed in the dads’ race at son Cruz‘s school sports day this week and left the competition in the shade.

Proud wife Victoria, 39, was joined by Stella McCartney as she cheered her man on during the 100m sprint.

David, 38, came first and received a gold medal for his victory, which he proudly wore around his neck later in the day as he carried daughter Harper, who’s nearly 2.

Sadly Victoria couldn’t quite live up to her hubby’s success.

The mum-of-four gamely took part in the mums’ race but was beaten to victory by fellow fashion designer Stella, 41.

Other parents at the school in London said Posh and Becks, who recently relocated to the city after living in LA for several years, were very down-to-earth.

They were like just any other mum and dad,’ one onlooker tells The Sun.

But Becks easily won the race. He beat the other dads by miles.’
