Aw! You have to read what George Clooney has said about his wife
It’s hard to believe just how much of a transformation former bachelor boy George Clooney has undergone.
In fact even he admits how ‘different’ his life is. As recently as January 2014 George told journalists: ‘I keep saying I’ll never get married again or have children but people just don’t want to believe me.’
Fast forward 17 months though and the Hollywood actor is one smitten kitten with new wife Amal.
As if looking like the ultimate couple at the Met Ball last week wasn’t enough, George has been gushing over his wife, in a way that we can only dream a man would talk about us.
‘I’m a married man now. Everything’s different now. It is actually very different,’ he said.
The 54-year-old Oscar winner was at Disneyland for the premiere of his latest movie, Tomorrowland, and he was absolutely raving about being married.
George said: ‘I couldn’t be happier. We’re having a really fun time. I wake up in the morning and I think, “This couldn’t be better”‘.
We can hear the women of the world swooning as we type.
The couple have a rule to not go more than 10 days without seeing one another, but George admits that it’s tough with the lives that they lead.
He said: ‘It’s not so easy because she actually has a day job. She has to, like, get people out of jail.’
She’s a human rights lawyer AND a style icon. What a woman.
This isn’t the first time that George Clooney has been sung the praises about his 37-year-old Wonder Woman of a wife.
Back in March, at the SeriousFun Children’s Network’s New York Gala, George made a bit of a blunder in his speech as he overestimated the number of countries the charity had helped. While laughing at his mistake, he added, ‘My wife’s the smart one!’
The couple got married in Italy back in September, and since then, George revealed that it’s taken a bit for Amal to get used to the attention, especially when it comes to her job.
‘It’s tricky sometimes walking outside of a hotel and having people follow you and stuff,’ he explained.
‘It’s hard to still practice law. Sometimes it is, but she’s handling it really well.’
Could this man be any more sweet?! Well, yes actually.
‘I really love my wife, I’m having a great time and I’m very proud of her. I couldn’t be more proud of the things she does.’
Where can we get our very own George Clooney please?
