The CBB star has come down with a mystery illness
Calum Best celebrated his first taste of freedom after being booted out of the Celebrity Big Brother house on Tuesday night in the only way he knows how, by partying with fellow former housemate, Jamie O’Hara.
And after being cooped up with the likes of Kim Woodburn and Jedward for company, we can totally understand why…
But now after finally being released from the madhouse it looks like the model has fallen ill after he pulled out of TV appearances on Big brother’s Bit On The Side AND Lorraine.
As BBOTS viewers waited patiently to see Calum sat on the sofa next to presenter, Rylan Neal-Clark on Wednesday evening, it seems like no one knew where on earth he’d got to.
Not even Rylan, who told the camera: ‘Finally we were supposed to have Calum Best on, but we genuinely don’t know where he is. This ain’t even a gag. This really ain’t.’
Before cheekily adding: ‘Maybe his new girlfriend kept him up all night?’
And after doing a disappearing act on Channel 5, Calum then went on to dodge an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine as well – leaving fans wondering whether it could have been something to do with his night out with pal, Jamie.
The boys headed to Paper Nightclub in London on Tuesday night and it seems like Jamie was more than pleased to see his new BFF as he posted a video of the two of them with the caption: ‘Out with my boy @mrcalumbest gutted he didn’t get to final but happy to see him…
‘And now we can enjoy ourselves…️ love to everyone for supporting #cbb #cbbjaime #calmie.’
The former footie player then went on the share a video on Snapchat showing the pair partying at the exclusive club and according to the Daily Star, the night didn’t end there as they were reportedly seen queuing up to get into a London strip in the early hours of the morning.
But Calum was quick to apologise for his no-show to his 370k followers on Thursday, writing: ‘Sincerest apologies to @bbuk #bbbots and @ITVLorraine been crazy ill since leaving the house. Will make it up.’
And it seems like the 35-year-old has really been suffering as he opened up about his health problems during his time in the house, revealing to Emma Willis during his exit interview: ‘I had an ear infection that was killing me and I wanted to sleep it off. They obviously don’t show those kind of things but it was wrecking me.’
Ooh Calum. We hope you get well soon!
