Singer Marvin adores his gorgeous wife and their little girl
Marvin Humes has really settled into his new role as a dad.
Marv, 28, loves nothing more than spending time with his six-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai before she goes to sleep at night.
‘The look on your daughters face when Daddy’s home before bedtime just in time to feed them and put them to bed is the best feeling ever,’ he Tweeted on Tuesday.
‘Bath Bottle and Bed she goes!‘
It comes as no surprise that Marvin treasures these precious moments – he’s been very busy recently and often works late into the evening.
‘Great night with @SmirnoffGB_IRE thinking outside the glass & creating some pretty cool drinks,’ Marvin posted yesterday.
The DJ and radio presenter found inspiration by recalling Caribbean holidays.
‘It has been fun going down memory lane and thinking about the most important things in my life to spark creativity,’ says Marv,’ the result has been some fantastic drinks!
‘My favourite creation has to be my Rochelle Sundae, which is inspired by my love for Rochelle and reminds me of when we first met.’
Smirnoff No 21 – 35ml
Cherry juice – 100ml (can get this in any large supermarket)
Elderflower cordial – 10ml
2 – 3 fresh strawberries – or a squeeze of strawberry puree instead
Pour the Smirnoff, cherry juice, elderflower cordial and the fresh strawberries into a cocktail shaker (or jam jar if you don’t have a shaker), lightly shake and pour over cubed ice into a tall sundae glass.
Finish by squeezing a splash of fresh lime on top and a slice of strawberry for garnish.
