The Saturdays star has been forced to pull out of Strictly tour
HUGE congratulations are in order for Frankie Bridge and husband Wayne who are preparing to hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet for the second time.
The Saturdays star issued a heartfelt statement yesterday to announce that the duo are to become parents again.
‘Wayne and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our second baby,’ Frankie, 25, revealed.
‘It is very early days, but we couldn’t be happier and Parker will make a wonderful big brother.’
It’s pretty clear that Frankie’s bandmate’s can’t wait to welcome another tot into their growing brood.
‘Congratulations to @FrankieTheSats and Wayne who are expecting their 2nd baby later this year 😄👶 xx,‘ Tweeted Una Healy who’s currently pregnant with her and rugby ace Ben Foden‘s second child.
Rochelle Humes – mum to Alaia-Mai – added: ‘Big Congratulations to @FrankieTheSats and Wayne who have another #BabyBridge on the way 👼👼 💗💙 x.‘
Despite her excitement, Frankie has been suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum – meaning she’s no longer able to waltz around the country with Caroline Flack and co on the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing tour.
‘Although this is such an incredible time for us as a family, due to health reasons I am sadly unable to go on the Strictly tour as planned,’ she continued.
‘I’m devastated that I’m missing out, as I loved Strictly so much and was so looking forward to joining everyone again in all those fabulous arenas.
‘Thanks for the warm messages I’ve already received, they are really appreciated.’
Frankie’s not the only star to have suffered from severe morning sickness.
Fellow mum-to-be Kate Middleton, 33, had a difficult start to her second pregnancy and was forced to pull out of an official trip to Malta last year.
Prince William had to stand in for his stunning wife on the two-day trip and thoughtfully issued an apology for her absence.
‘I’m sorry you’ve got me instead of Catherine,’ he joked while visiting the country back in September.
‘She’s very disappointed she couldn’t be here today.’
Kate was hospitalised while experiencing the condition when she was expecting her and Wills’ son George.
