Kate leaves baby Prince George at home for trip
The Duchess, who celebrates her 32nd birthday today, hit the shops in London with mum Carole, 58, for a spot of retail therapy.
Kate somehow managed to keep a low profile as she browsed at the Peter Jones department store in Sloane Square, Chelsea.
You wouldn’t have known it was Kate Middleton,’ says fellow shopper Louisa Smith.
The shop is always quite calm anyway, and there wasn’t a great deal of people around. It was only when I did a double take that I realised it was her.’
The new mum, who didn’t have five-month-old son Prince George with her, wore a pretty baby blue coat for the trip and wowed onlookers with her radiant appearance.
She was absolutely beautiful,’ Ms Smith tells People.
She has a very magnetic energy about her. She looked absolutely stunning. It was nice to see her doing ordinary stuff!’
Meanwhile Wills, 31, spent the day at the University of Cambridge as he started a 10-week agricultural management course.
It’s not known if Kate will get to spend her birthday with her husband given that he’ll be doing his studies.
