Forget nail art, it’s all about baby bump art now.
The celebs have picked up their paint brushes, but not to finish off decorating the nursery before the arrival of their little cherubs, oh no. Instead, they’re painting pretty pictures on their pregnant tums and our favourite baby-mumma to be, Jacqueline Jossa posted her adorable piece of artwork via Instagram on Tuesday.
The EastEnders actress posted a shot of her bump disguised as a Kinder Egg with a cute little baby girl peeking from the top as boyfriend Dan Osborne jokingly tries to take a bite. She captioned the image, ‘our little kinder surprise’. Aww!
We’d almost forgotten that these little chocolate delights even existed, so for this ridiculously cute reminder, we thank you guys! It’s the corner shop for us, this lunchtime.
The pair are due to welcome their first child into the world in February and revealed that they are having a girl at their baby shower earlier this month. TOWIE star Dan is already father to son Teddy with ex Megan Tomlin. We bet Teddy can’t wait to meet his new little sister!
But Jac‘s not the first to enjoy a bit of bump art. When pregnant with twins, Moroccan and Monroe, Mariah Carey took to Twitter to show a belly adorned with butterflies and accompanied by the words ‘dem babies’. Those bubbas had more swagger than us before they even left the womb!
Imogen Thomas decided to get into the Halloween spirit while pregnant with gorgeous daughter, Ariana, now two, by transforming her bump into a giant pumpkin!
Also keen to get festive, Hilary Duff Tweeted her Christmas-themed masterpiece way back in 2011. Talk about being ahead of the crowd, Hils!
Fellow Americans Holly Madison and Alanis Morissette were also way ahead of the game with their tummy illustrations. Before the birth of her son Ever in 2010, Alanis shared a picture of her henna-adorned bump and former reality star, Hugh Hefner‘s ex-girlfriend Holly, showed of a cartoon smiley face on her site last January.
Who will be next? Keira Knightley? Frankie Bridge? All we know is that our lives will be incomplete without seeing a Cadbury’s Cream Egg on Sophie Hunter‘s Cumber-bump. We’re just a little bit jealous that our baby-less bellies can’t get in on the act. Hhmpph!
