Breaking EVERY rule of break ups, selfish Kermit has already moved on from longterm love Miss Piggy with ANOTHER pig

We never had him down as a love rat. But Kermit The Frog went public with his new relationship with Miss Piggy lookilikey, Denise, this morning.

A source close to Kermit confirmed to People magazine that the two are officially an item, saying: ‘He calls her his girlfriend’ and the pair have been pictured together on the set of his and Miss Piggy’s talkshow Up Late.

However, publically spineless Kermit is still denying it. He put the following statement out on Twitter: ‘While I prefer to keep my personally life private, this is Hollywood, so who am I kidding? It is true that I am dating again. However at this time no one woman, pig or otherwise is my official girlfriend. We are simply close friends.’

Kermit only announced the death of his relationship with porcine megastar, miss Piggy last month. Hoping for a Gwyneth- and Chris-style conscious uncoupling he announced on Facebook: ‘After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Miss Piggy and I made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together on television… however our personal lives are now distinct and separate and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs et al.’

Miss Piggy responded in an interview saying: ‘Dating moi is like flying close to the sun. It was inevitable that Kermit would drop down to the ground while I stayed in the heavens.’

Despite the fact that Miss Piggy has been linked to Miley Cyrus’s ex-fiancé Chris Hemsworth and is reported to have had a clinch with Topher Grace, the star of hit US sitcom That ’70s Show, it’s unlikely that the notoriously fiery hog will take the news of being replaced so soon lying down. Especially as Denise, the head of marketing at American TV network ABC, is a younger, thinner version of her predecessor.

Breaking moi’s vow of silence with vous to say WATCH IT, FROG!!!!’ she warned the toad on Twitter.

Stay strong, MP. Stay strong.
