Reformed boyband vow to 'outsex' old rivals on their new tour

Boyzone performed their first gig in 7 years on Sunday night – and stripped to their pants to show off their new toned bodies.

The group, who will play 32 shows around the UK, have undergone a no-carbs diet and intensive fitness plan to get in shape.

‘We have been working out with a fitness coach for 3 months,’ frontman Ronan Keating, 31, tells the Daily Mirror.

‘The fitness regime got us in such good shape we decided to strip off and show off our new look!’

The boys – including Shane Lynch, 31, Stephen Gately, 32, Mikey Graham, 35, and Keith Duffy, 33 – wowed the crowd in Belfast with a 2-hour set.

The tour has seen them reunite with former manager Louis Walsh, 55.

And of the obvious comparisons to the recent Take That tour, Ronan confesses to The Sun: ‘They raised the bar and we had to follow. We had to outsex them.’
