Amy Winehouses husband disappointed by verdict
Blake Fielder-Civil‘s request to have his sentence reduced has been rejected by the Court Of Appeal.
Amy Winehouse’s husband was jailed in July for 27 months for GBH and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
And he was sent from Edmunds Hill Prison into a Surrey rehab centre on 5 November.
He will remain in the clinic for the time being after Mr Justice Pitchford dismissed his appeal.
He said the court wants Blake, 26, to continue with the rehabilitation process and that it is only if “these attempts are successful that he has a worthwhile future”.
Blake, who was present in court, said: ‘I am disappointed but not really surprised.’
He is yet to be reunited with Amy, 25.
