Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has not given up on expanding her family

Amanda Holden has vowed to keep positive following the tragic loss of her unborn baby while she was 7 months pregnant in February.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge and her husband Chris Hughes, who are parents to Lexi, 5, still plan to expand their family one day.

‘I’m a naturally really optimistic girl,’ says Amanda, 40. ‘My husband and I, we’re not dramatic people and although what’s happened is obviously horrifying…we can go on and have more children.

‘Our future’s bright and you have to turn negatives into positive and try and see everything as a blessing. And that’s exactly what we’ve done.’

Amanda‘s now returned to work on Britain’s Got Talent, which is back on TV from next Saturday, and is thankful to fans for their words of encouragement over the last few months.

‘It’s been amazing,’ she revealed on ITV1’s Lorraine today.

‘I’ve had unbelieveable support. It truly has got us both through it, really.’
