Awww, poor Perrie. The singer has since received lots of supportive messages from her fanbase who are clearly devastated to lose Prada.

‘Omg Prada rip :((( hope you’re alright Perrie, sending you all my love ,’ one fan commented, whilst another wrote: ‘Rest in peace my love, always in our hearts. We’ll miss you dearly’

Meanwhile one simply posted: ‘This so sad 😢😢.Stay strong❤❤’

There’s been no word from Prada’s former co-owner Zayn, 24, since Perrie shared the news.

The couple got Prada along with Pomeranian dog Hatchi during their relationship but it looks like both animals stayed with Pez when they split in August 2015, two years after they’d got engaged.

Perrie also has several other pets, so hopefully they’ll help to keep her smiling following her sad loss.

The blonde star clearly loves animals and this seems to be something she shares with new boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Pez seemingly confirmed their romance earlier this month by posting an adorable photo of footballer Alex sitting his pet Labrador Retriever as well as Perrie’s pooch Hatchi.

Strangely the Little Mixer has since deleted the snap but it looks like things are still going smoothly between her and the Arsenal player.

The couple are keen to keep things as low-key as possible, though, so we won’t expect too many loved-up selfies from them.

‘Perrie wants to keep her lovelife private,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘And also doesn’t want to be regarded as a stereotypical football WAG.

‘It’s early days and they’re still getting to know each other so it’s unlikely her stance will change.

‘Alex fully supports her as he too wants to be known as a footballer, not dating a pop star.’
