Michael Douglas proposes to Catherine again

Michael Douglas has asked Catherine Zeta-Jones to renew their vows, Now can reveal.

And we’re told he’s suggested they do it on Valentine’s Day.

Pals say the pair – who have two children Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10 – are back together after their trial separation.

‘They really want to make another go of it,’ says one friend.

‘They were together at Christmas with their children.

‘It was then that Michael popped the question.

‘He went down on one knee and said to Catherine: “Let’s get married again!”‘

Now‘s learnt that Catherine, 44, is keen on the idea, although it’s not confirmed whether she’s officially accepted.

It’s thought, however, that she’ll go through with it.

Our insider adds: ‘They’re ready to pledge their love for each other again on Valentine’s Day.’

It’s believed they’ll then have a second honeymoon at their beach home in Bermuda.

The reunion comes after Michael, 69, posted pics of Catherine and himself with the kids on a family ski trip in Quebec, Canada, over the New Year.

The pair separated in August after 13 years of marriage, but Michael was open about wanting to reconcile permanently.

He said in November: ‘I hope to resolve my marriage in a positive fashion.’

Let’s hope they have.
